When Divine Mother made the world,
She did not decide to torture her creatures; rather, She asked her own Earth-Daughter
To prepare a home for them, on a blue-green globe, where deer and fawns would play together;
Where stones and brooks would talk and laugh with each other, coursing down their stony paths;
Where the trees would shake with laughter, their leaves enormous, catching the sun;
She did not say, “I will hurt my creatures;” rather, She took them within her bosom, stroked their little heads, and set them on Her path, to run freely;
Poor children, they did lose their Way; they wandered far from the Tree, and fell into chasms, burnt themselves with Fire, not knowing how to channel it toward good ends;
Poor children, they read books but could not write, having lost the power of speech;
Poor things, wandering lonely in this world, in search of Love, and not finding it except within their own Gardens:
Then She put us together upon this Earth, and showed us the Way, and whispered: “My Children, go forth and show the world that two souls can come together and feel bliss together, and it is a uniting force; show them that your Love holds all children within its beating Heart; show them that My love is what is turning the world on its axis:”
Our Mission, then became:
To Love ourselves, so as to love others;
To be kind to our ourselves, so as to be gentle with others;
To sleep with each other, in our arms, intertwined, in order to give the World warmth of flesh together, hearts merging;
And the World, refreshed, awoke, sleep sloughing off its tired body, like ice crystals in the Sun, and it spoke to its Mother:
“Thank You.”
